Summer Institute 1st

Climate Change

and Environmental Protection (SICCEP)

* Language of instruction and assessment is English.

* 40 hrs of special topic study, 20hrs of study in common with 2nd program.

* Friday roundtable discussions by experts and professors of different nationalities.

* Applicants can apply for either of the two programs or both.

 

* Certificates will be issued after successful completion by the co-organization partner universities.

Summer Institute 2nd

Intellectual Property Rights and China (IP-China)

* Language of instruction and assessment is English.

* 40 hrs of special topic study, 20hrs of study in common with 1st program.

* Friday roundtable discussions by experts and professors of different nationalities.

*Special Topic Study:

1) Introduction to Chinese Law, Institutions & Politics (20hrs) SICCEP and IP-CHINA

2) Global Environmental Governance (14hrs) SICCEP

3) Environment, Science and Society: a Philosophical Introduction (14hrs) SICCEP

4) Law, Policy and Economics on Climate Change (14hrs) SICCEP

5) Introduction to Chinese Intellectual Property Law and Technology Transfer (20hrs) IP-CHINA

6) European American and Chinese Approaches to Intellectual Property Rights and Competition Policy (20hrs) IP-CHINA

Chinese undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph. D students at School of Government, Peking University. Admission will be decided based on application letter and CV of each candidate.
